DSCTE Guide to Eligibility
This document is intended to serve as a guide to eligibility for the Center for Teacher Preparation DSCTE Credential Program. Final eligibility and candidate acceptance is subject to an initial screening of official records conducted by our Credential Services Department upon submission of your application.
The Eligibility Criteria consists of three components: Required Minimum Education, Required Industry Experience Hours, and Required Industry Experience Recency.
Note: Advanced CTE Candidates who hold a Clear General Education or Education Specialist Credential have already met the eligibility requirements for a CTE Credential. Please click here for more information.
